PARISH COUNCIL DISTRICT COUNCILLOR’S REPORT SEPTEMBER 2025 RECYCLING SMALL ELECTRICALS It is not a good idea put small electrical items into the black bin. That’s because they can be recycled if they cannot be repaired. Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils have launched a new recycling scheme for electrical items. New pink recycling bins can found in the two districts, where residents can dispose of their broken electrical items. Request to use the village car park Background This year the Christmas Market and Parade group have taken the decision not continue with facilitating the market and parade due to personal capacity issues. The market and fair have been a village tradition since beginning in 2020. This is event was previously attended by a large percentage of the village. This year, a much smaller group of volunteers would like to propose a reduced event, which would not include the parade.
