Roads, Footpaths and Flatford

The Roads, Footpaths and Flatford Committee influences the Highway Authority in matters of maintenance of rural footpaths and bridleways. It can also put resources towards improvements for the community and can influence traffic and highway matters with the County Council, such as traffic schemes and speed limits. It also oversees the Flatford carpark, litter picking, litter and dog bins, benches and some planting of trees.

Committee Responsibilities

To deal with the management of litter and matters relating to public rights of way, miscellaneous street furniture and Parish Council owned public seats within the parish.
To oversee the management of the village centre car park.
