2) Matters arising 18 May 2022 – JM reported Babergh had Parking Strategy on-line survey with
meeting in East Bergholt on 27 June at the Lambe School, 10.00 – 12.00

3) Progress Update
a) CC reported PJA workshop to group as excellent. Options meeting with PJA by zoom
11.00 – 12.00 on 12 July, CC &PD attending. To have report in advance and this and zoom
details to be sent to this group & Parish Councillors for feedback and to finalise report. PV
unable to attend zoom but will feedback on report.
b) CC to email RW on getting Old Hall rep for group.
c) CC – Parish Council to future proof website
d) NR scoped Housing Survey questions at meeting on Monday 6 June. Now waiting for Call
for Sites appraisals, 2021 census data. JM circulated document today for comment.
e) JM – Teagan, Babergh Heritage Officer has walked the village, planning to meet with this
group along with Sam, Babergh planning Officer2nd week of July. Babergh to decide which
route they wish to take on Conservation Area Extension. NIR – Full Council will have greater
weight.
f) CC – In his absence forwarded CT’s draft Sustainability Survey for comments. Using ND
photo on poster and surveys. CT to be final arbiter. Survey to be distributed with July
In Touch.
g) NR- CT has criticised ENE who are to respond to him. Response waited.

4) Feedback from topic areas:
– sustainability CT away
– housing – JM – nothing to add
NR – Had good catch up with R Hobbs, Babergh particularly on housing. Waiting on their
Local Plan changes and how affect our NP. JM – R Hobbs doing gap analysis
– character & heritage, design guidelines, landscape environment – JL away
– ecology (EK/JL) – BM away
– transport (all modes) (CC) – nothing to add
– tourism & economy (JM)- waiting for Babergh video, SCC interested.
– infrastructure – BM away

5) To agree the next steps – VA to circulate

6) A.O.B. PV – Lot of work being done on EB Museum, what like to see; hub for walks with QR
codes. Give to JM first then this group and PC. SCC Archives showing interest, offered
resource to assist. Conversations continue.
