Two Casual Vacancies – East Bergholt Parish Council

East Bergholt Parish Council currently has two casual vacancies for Parish Councillors.
Before the Council can fill these vacancies by co-option, local electors have the opportunity to request an election.
Vacancy 1
• Notice dated: 15 July
• Deadline to request an election: 4 August
• If an election is called: It will take place no later than 8 October.
Vacancy 2
• Notice dated: 16 July
• Deadline to request an election: 5 August
• If an election is called: It will take place no later than 9 October.
Important: These are two separate vacancies. If you wish to request an election for both vacancies, you must submit two separate written requests to the Returning Officer—one for each vacancy. Each vacancy requires 10 electors to request an election independently.
