Budget Update – East Bergholt Parish Council 2025/26

East Bergholt Parish Council has reviewed its Budget Monitor for 2025/26, with finances continuing to be well managed across all committees 
Total expenditure for the year stands at £162,996.09 
While this is £2,996.09 above the precept, it remains £44,387.41 below the overall budget limit, reflecting careful planning and responsible financial management 
One committee exceeded its budget due to exceptional circumstances, however this was balanced by underspends in other areas, ensuring overall spending remained within agreed limits 
All other committees remained within their allocated budgets, and the Chair has commended committee chairs for their continued diligence in managing resources effectively while still delivering services for the parish 
The Council remains committed to transparent, responsible financial stewardship on behalf of the community
