Review of Council Policies

1. At its meeting on 10 September 2020 the Council approved and adopted an
Accessibility Statement for East Bergholt Village Website. It was a statutory
requirement that a statement be published by 23 September and the
statement was published despite the fact that testing of the website had not
been carried out at that point. Subsequently the Website Review Group has
conducted thorough testing of the website. The results of that testing is set out
in a revised version of the accessibility statement which is written in clearer
language. It is recommended to the Council by the Website Review Group.
The approved statement and the proposed replacement statement are
appended to this report.

2. It is RECOMMENDED the Website Accessibility Statement submitted by the
Website Review Group be approved and adopted and supersede the
statement approved on 10 September 2020.
