Review of Council Policies

1. Background:
Several policies were due for review at the end of 2022, however this did not take
place due to increasing workloads.
These policies have now been updated by the Assistant Clerk and signed off by the
Vice Chair.
Small amendments have been made to the majority of these policies, with more
significant updates required to the Press, Media and Social Media Policy.
This has been updated following the launch of the Facebook page by the Parish
Council and also more clearly identifies responsibilities of Parish Councillors and
Employees whilst using social media.
There are several further policies, which will be added to future agendas for
approval.
2. Recommendation:
It is recommended that the following policies be approved and adopted for a further
year.
• Complaints Policy
• Email Policy
• Health and Safety Policy
• Press, Media and Social Media Policy
