NR – clarity from R Hobbs on Call for Sites response – yet to be clarified.
ALL – review of recirculated Village Meeting note –
Because of May election will need meeting before 16 March or after 4 May.
Two meetings, businesses followed by Village.
23/24/25 May dependant on PJA availability – VA to confirm with PJA.
ND/JL to do drone picture of overhead of village center.
Working group (JM, NR, JL) to identify what important to bring out of the report.
Ask PJA to provide tools for meeting.
To meet with SCC and Babergh before meetings.
SD’s sister who lives in village to be facilitator.
JM – Parish Clerk to publish survey results on village website –
Still need first survey analysis – JM to chase RW and also seek Parish Council agreement to
publish all 3 survey results. VA to put results in Parish Mag.
NR – to write draft brief for next meeting for getting a planning consultant to programme
manage and draft the NP (circulated with agenda) – NR to add some bullet points and clarify
price option before issuing. FM & CT to assess returned applications with NR.
5) Site Options and Assessment 2022 report (circulated with agenda) – next steps
NR – 13 sites considered, concluded 1 suitable for 16 dwellings – need evidence site is available
and economically viable and to engage with Babergh, Landowner and community. In Babergh
2020 Leisure report EB seen as priority area for improvement, some sites not suitable for
development may be suitable for leisure. Next steps:
1) JM/NR to speak with PC Playing Fields Committee
2) JM/NR/ND to inform Landowner of possible 16 dwellings site and possible Leisure site(s)
3) JM/NR/ND to liaise with Babergh on outcome of (2) above
4) Inform other site submission Landowners of unsuitability for housing
5) Update Babergh
6) Tell Parish Council on village engagement proposals

– sustainability CT – 2 months before Eastern New Energy produce new roof plan of village
