East Bergholt is gearing up for a village-wide Scarecrow Party Week celebrating Constable’s birthday on 11 June as part of the “In Our View” events 
We’re inviting everyone to help turn the village into one big, joyful celebration by creating party-themed scarecrows to display outside your home 
Think party vibes!

fancy dress
confetti and colourYour scarecrow could be anything from a birthday guest with presents, a musician at the party, or a full-on celebration scene bursting with fun 
If you’d like, you can even add a Constable-inspired twist – a nod to the local landscape or a playful reference to his work – but it’s completely up to you 
7–14 June
Across East BergholtThis is all about creativity, community and fun – bringing smiles and colour to every corner of the village
