East Bergholt is gearing up for a village-wide Scarecrow Party Week celebrating Constable’s birthday on 11 June as part of the “In Our View” events 🎂✨
We’re inviting everyone to help turn the village into one big, joyful celebration by creating party-themed scarecrows to display outside your home 🌟🌾
Think party vibes!

🎁 presents
🎶 music & instruments
💃 dancing
🎤 singing
👗 fancy dress
🎊 confetti and colour
Your scarecrow could be anything from a birthday guest with presents, a musician at the party, or a full-on celebration scene bursting with fun 🎉😄
If you’d like, you can even add a Constable-inspired twist – a nod to the local landscape or a playful reference to his work – but it’s completely up to you 🌿🎨
