Get involved in something truly special this June!

Published On: April 13, 2026
As part of this year’s Summer Fair and the wider In Our View celebrations marking 250 years since the birth of John Constable 🌿✨, the East Bergholt Community Council is creating two giant community “paint-by-numbers” artworks 🖌️
Inspired by iconic Constable works:
• A Boat Passing a Lock (Flatford Lock), owned by the Royal Academy of Arts
• Golding Constable’s Flower Garden (Ipswich Museum)
Residents will be invited to paint a small section — coming together to create unique, whole-village masterpieces ❤️
👏 Huge thanks to Guy Clubb of Clubb Creative (East Bergholt), who has kindly transformed the paintings into line drawings for the community to paint.
👀 There is already strong interest, with Ipswich Museum and the National Trust at Flatford keen to exhibit the finished piece!
👉 More details on how to take part coming soon… watch this space!
