Minutes of the Strategy, Policy and Finance Committee

OPEN PUBLIC SESSION – There were no members of the public present.

1. APOLOGIES FOR A BSENCE – Apologies for absence from Councillors Roberts and Woodcock
were noted.

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST – None

3. MINUTES – The minutes of the Committee meeting held on 21 April 2022 were approved as a
correct record.

4. MATTERS ARISING/UPDATES – None

5. SPF BUDGET 2023/24 – A grants budget of £8000 and a general budget of £51,615 were
approved for recommendation to Council.

6. COUNCIL BUDGET – The Committee considered the draft budgets submitted by each committee
and approved a total Council budget of £148,573 for recommendation to Council.

7. BEQUEST – The Committee approved the preferred location of the commemorative bench and the
Clerk was requested to establish whether the family wished for a plaque to be affixed in memory of
Lauraine Johnson.
