EAST BERGHOLT INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT PLANS PRIORITIES FOR IMPLEMENTATION
Criteria for prioritising projects:
1. Project meets clear local need (a) essential (b) nice to have.
2. There is no other sufficient funding form available or provides critical seed-corn funding to match other external funding
3. How big the impact the project has, the benefit it will deliver. Can assess if impact is no people affected or other measure? Also
subject measure eg: improve equality, safety, recreational wellbeing
4. Deliver within a finite timeframe
5. Contributes to PC or EBNP objectives
6. Categories of large and small projects defined.
• Consider ring fencing a smaller sum of CIL grants in any one year for allocation to small projects.
• Might want to ring fence around categories as well as around big/small projects
Levels of Priority matched to criteria above =
