East Bergholt forms part of a wider ‘functional cluster’ that includes the following hinterland villages:

East Bergholt Parish Council are preparing a Neighbourhood Plan
East Bergholt is well served by a range of local businesses and services including … a Primary & High School, a
Doctor’s Surgery, places of Worship, Village Hall, General Store and Post Office
70% of all households with at least one usual resident in East Bergholt have access to gas-fired central
