AGENDA

OPEN PUBLIC SESSION – Prior to commencement of the Committee business, the
opportunity will be given to members of the public to make representations and to ask
questions.

1. WELCOME AND APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

2. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS

3. URGENT COMMUNICATIONS – To receive and consider any other matters of sufficient
urgency and importance that the Chairman of the Committee allows.

4. RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC (INCLUDING THE PRESS) – To propose that
pursuant to the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 and the Local
Government Act 1972 the public (including the press) be excluded from the meeting as
publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of
the business to be transacted.

5. CEMETERY AND CHURCHYARD GROUNDSPERSON

To consider applications for the post (to follow – the applications will be circulated on
Monday 3 March after the application period has closed on 28 February).

To shortlist applicants for interview and to select an interview date.

To establish an Appointments Sub-Committee with delegated power to appoint.
