AGENDA
MEETING ETIQUETTE – The Chairman (Councillor Miller) will announce the arrangements under which this
meeting is to be conducted.
OPEN PUBLIC SESSION – Prior to commencement of the Council’s business, the opportunity will be given to
members of the public to make representations to the Council or to ask questions. Under the current
circumstances representations/questions should be submitted by email or telephone call to the Clerk to the

5. CORONAVIRUS – To consider the current situation in East Bergholt and the Council’s support for residents

(a) EB Covid-19 Volunteers;
(b) Burial grounds;
(c) Parish Council contingency arrangements.
6. ANNUAL REPORTS – QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC – When, in the absence of an Annual Parish
Meeting, annual reports were published on the website, questions were invited from the public for
consideration by the Council. Two questions have been received as follows:
1) What positive action is the Parish Council taking or planning to help protect the villagers from COVID-
19?
2) I understand the JR is currently under consideration by the Supreme Court. Should this court state there
is a possibility the Parish Council would win an appeal, can the Parish Council assure me they will do
2
everything in their power to pursue this action? I would like to remind members of a statement made by the
Prime Minster regarding BREXIT. He said the Government would support the majority 52% who wanted to
leave the EU. In the referendum for the Neighbourhood Plan, this majority was 95%. May I suggest the
Parish Council should follow the PM’s example.
