days. An extension was sought.

Babergh refused the extension,
stating:

This is the standard time we offer for
this type of application.

It should be noted that this is not a
formal planning application insofar as
we can debate the compliance with
the Development Plan. Instead, this is
a notification on if the scheme
proposed accords with the General
Permitted Development Order (2015).
Regardless of the views expressed,
this is more so a black and white
decision of does it accord with
Schedule 2, Part 6.

As expressed within the notification
letter that was issued, time
constraints are key in this case, and if
a decision is not made in a timely
manner deemed consent will be

granted. This means regardless of if
the scheme complies with Schedule 2,
Part 6, they would be free to go ahead.
