CORONATION CELEBRATIONS

1. Background
This report intends to update the Council on Coronation Celebrations on 8
th
May.
2. Update on Coronation event 8
th
May 12-4pm
We will need to ensure that all stalls and inflatables are placed in appropriate positions to
safeguard attendees from any potential dangers. A risk assessment is currently being
finalised and will be circulated with the late papers if completed in time.
Ideally we need to identify two first aiders to assist with any injuries on the day. If you are
willing, or know anyone who could help, please let me know.
3. Update on Scarecrow Trail
Scarecrows made by the school children are kindly being displayed in the Granary Garden
at Flatford from 5-8
th
May. We are expecting local media interest in this and have drafted a
press release.
RHS Flatford have been very accommodating and keen to engage with EBPC.
All children who participate in making a scarecrow and displaying at their home will receive a
medal from EBPC.
4. Art Project
The art project is now fully underway, Fiona Salmon a local mosaic artist is working with the
High School to finalise details.
