National Grid – Norwich to Tilbury Pylons Update
Published On: November 21, 2025
Many residents have been asking about the proposed National Grid Norwich–Tilbury development. It is now understood that the new pylons will end at Holton, with the cables continuing underground to Ardleigh.
This project may have significant local impact, including potential traffic disruption on the A12 and increased re-routing through East Bergholt during construction.
