Neighbourhood Plan Committee Parish Council Update April 2026

There has been no meeting of the committee since the budget meeting in November.
The Neighbourhood Plan Group awaits the result of BDC’s consideration of the
Conservation Area Appraisal and proposed boundary changes, likely due in July
2026. It also needs to finalise housing numbers and sites for inclusion in the Plan
On 10th April the Group has a virtual meeting with Andrea Long, the PC’s planning
consultant to agree the remaining steps and timescale to finalising the pre
submission consultation draft (Regulation 14). The draft Plan will then be ready,
subject to Parish Council approval, go to forward for a six-week public consultation
process later in the year.
